Jamshedpur: BJP is not using probe agencies to bring down the Mahagathbandhan government-led by Hemant Soren in Jharkhand, said party’s state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi on Tuesday.
“It is extremely unfortunate for the people of Jharkhand, who voted this coalition government to power in 2019, to witness that their elected representatives, including chief minister Hemant Soren are neck deep in corruption,” he said. The Centre is not using probe agencies like a puppet to destabilise the state government, rather it is the internal feud with the partners and corruption which will lead to the fall of this government, the former MLA from Baharagora added.
When asked about the fingers being pointed at the previous Raghubar Das government in giving clean chit to suspended IAS Pooja Singhal for her involvement in scams, Sarangi said that the probe agencies should be allowed to do their work freely and find the truth.
Sarangi further said that the BJP is in no hurry to topple the state government. Top leaders are keeping a close watch on the day-to-today political developments in the state.
