Atul Kumar has been appointed as member (technical) of the JSERC. The twin notifications clarified that the two members would hold office for a period of five years or till attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
However, the two members could not assume their respective offices as the state government failed to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the duo.
