Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) would soon launch ‘Project Sahyog’ for providing legal and other types of aid to women and girl child, subjected to violence both in private and public places.
The organisation would coordinate with the One Stop Centre, which has been set up by the Ministry of Women and Child Development for similar purpose, to ensure relief to the victims.
The scheme would cover women subjected to various types of violence, including rape, outrage of modesty, allegations of witch-hunting, and domestic violence.
JHALSA would soon float helpline number 18003457019 for the victims to contact the organisation for relief such as medical help, psychiatric counselling, compensation, rehabilitation, protection, legal services in the court and if required, a short stay at a place.
